My mom taught me how to knit and crochet when I was 10 years old. My first project was a neon-green-and-pink-striped scarf that hurt your eyes to look at (and got ripped apart pretty quickly). I went on to make thick chair pads, lacy doilies, then eventually sweaters, arm warmers, and afghans. I've expanded into other creative avenues like decoupage, jewelry-making, and paper crafts to satisfy my need to make things with my hands.
Much of my stock is one-of-a-kind: Some jewelry pieces are created from found objects or from intricate beading patterns, textiles and yarns that had a limited mill run; creations that are pretty but useful; you won't find the exact same thing here.
I hope you'll join me on my journey and maybe you'll incorporate some of my creations into your own world.
